Robert Diaz attended nursing school at Miami-Dade College in Miami, Florida where he received his Nursing degree in 1993. Robert went on to receive his Bachelor of Science of Nursing from Barry University, Miami Florida in 2003. He continued his education at Barry University, where he received his Masters of Nursing Science and Critical Care Nurse Practitioner degree in 2006. In addition, Robert is Board Certified in Critical Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, Chemotherapy certified by ONS and Operating Room Certified by American Association of Operating Room Nurses. He served as charge nurse at South Miami Hospital's Emergency Department from 1995 to 1999. In addition, he was head of the Open Heart, Vascular Surgery, Endovascular Surgery and Thoracic Surgery program at South Miami Hospital from 1999 to 2004. Robert is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Oncology Nurses Association and Association of Operating Room Nurses. He has been the Chemotherapy Coordinator for South Miami Gynecologic Oncology Group since 2004 and Surgical First Assistant since 2006. |
